Video Transcript for Let’s Check Out the Rubber Wiper Seal with Track for RV Slide Out

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we take a look at this 30 foot long stick on rubber wiper seal with the track for your RV slide out. Now this rubber wiper seal with the track on it is used to prevent water and pests from getting into your living area on your RV. The wiper seal itself will flex in or out depending upon how the slide is moving, so it is ideal for Jayco Eagle Fifth Wheels and other RVs. Now we mentioned this integrated track right here you can see. This'll create the installation point for your bulb seal to install on to help seal against the RV when the slide out is closed.

And this part here is compatible with the one inch and one in three 16th inch channel bulb seats, which we do sell separately on our website. Their part number is SR84FR and SR37FR, and they are listed on this product page as a related product. Now this is a EPDM dense rubber construction, won't shrink, crack or fade over time And this is resistant to UV damage. You can see on the bottom here, they use a peel and stick installation, has this pre-applied 3M adhesive backing here. You simply just peel off the backing paper and then apply the seal to the RV frame surrounding the slide out.

You can use scissors to trim many extra seal. Again, just wanted to show you the cutaway on this. Sort of gives you an idea. Have your track up here. Tape down here, little ridge right there, and then a little ridge right on the edge here.

Dimensions on this again, is 30 feet in length, and the width of this seal is two and 13 16th inches. And this part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on this 30 foot long stick on rubber wiper seal with the track for your RV slide out.

Thick, flexible rubber should last a few years. Good replacement for original wipers.
by:
Very good rubber and strong.

Good job

Upgraded from OEM RV seal. ForestRiver used nails to hold the weather strip in place. It took two men & a boy to remove nails without damaging the wall of RV.
Haven’t finished installing the outer slide in seal yet.
RV company’s don’t care how they build them-Just get the doe and let it go.

Excellent service and great customer support.
Recommend Etrailer for all purchases.
by:
Great product. The tracks point out, where the original pointed toward center of slide seal, therefore we were unable to slide in the part that covered screws. We just applied caulk over each screw head to protect bubble seal. Part is for 2017 Tiffin 34PA.
by:
fast delivery, product is exactly as advertised and is a perfect fit from our original weather stripping when we purchased the travel trailer new.
by:
A week after installation, when I re-opened the slideroom, the wiper was curled up and was not touching the top of the slide room. A day later it still hadn't regained its shape.
by:
The quality is far superior to the cheaper products found on amazon

I'm glad you found us Bruce!

by:
Jerry B. was extremely helpful and patient, finding me the correct replacement parts I needed for my 5th wheel RV slide out seals
by:
The process of ordering from beginning to end as well as delivery was outstanding delivered ahead of schedule and I’m very satisfied so far. I have not installed the slide seal yet, but it looks exactly like what I ordered. I’m very satisfied.
by:
Etrailer was fantastic. My order was promised for Wednesday but did not arrive until Saturday until 2:10 pm . Either don’t promise or change delivery people
by:
Product was a bit too wide but made it work!
by:
The track you sent would not accept the bulb seal i purchased. Installed a little less then 14 feet and had to take it back off and snap it into place. Would like to return the other 15 feet to you for credit. That way you can see what I'm talking about.
by:
Exactly what I needed! Next order I’ll pay for shipping. USPS barely made it to me. I needed the product for an upcoming trip.
by:
Nothing on the market compares to the quality of this wiper. Thicker rubber. Much better than factory. Gave me a great seal that will last for years. I will buy again.
by:
Fast shipping and great fitting

I bought these wiper seals for my cedar creek fifth wheel. After installation I tried to slide my slides in and they tried to cock from one done to the other and did not come in smoothly or completely. These are made out of a different type of rubber that is very stiff so they don’t fold into the slide while moving slide in. I am out the price of a 30’ roll and cannot return because I used part of it. Beware of Steele wiper seals

I hope it's not that it's too thick, but instead just sticking when trying to slide the slide. I'm thinking that it may just be sticking, which Tire Talc, which is just pure talcum powder may be the way to go. If you apply some to a rag and wipe it on the surfaces of the seal that slide on the side of the trailer, then it should help keep the rubber from sticking when sliding in and out. Now, don't go rummaging through the nursery for baby powder, thinking that it will work. Contrary to popular belief, baby powder is no longer guaranteed to use pure talcum powder. Some body powders have replaced talcum powder with cornstarch; so I'd say just stick with the tire talc.

I couldn’t find an exact replacement for my 13 year old RV, but this seal was close enough to get the job done. etrailer came through again! Thanks!
by:
Perfect fit! As usual, E-trailer had what I needed at a good price, very fast shipping!!! Reason why I buy all my trailer parts from them, makes it easy to keep my customers happy.

Quality product! Customer is very happy with this product 1 year after installation.

by:
Excellent product ! The tape was very sticky which made simple installation and the rubber itself was nice and pliable giving me the confidence of a quality product
by:
I used the wiper seal for the horizontal seal (top) on my slide out that is 13 ft long on my cedar creek fifth wheel.
The rubber is so stiff it won’t flex and move properly when the slide is brought in. It is supposed to fold into the slide when the room is brought in for travel and prevents the slide from tiltin in at the top. Because I installed this seal I cannot get my money back. Not very happy.
by:
Excellent replacement.

Andy was great help , the product is exactly as Andy said. Great people and great product.

  • Recommended Replacement Slide Out Seals For A 2014 Heartland North Trail Travel Trailer
You've got both a wiper seal and a bulb seal here with the wiper seals having a track for the bulb seal to slide onto. The Rubber Wiper Seal with Track for RV Slide Out # SR87FR you were already looking at is most likely the closest option to what you currently have. For the bulb seal you can use the Rubber Bulb Seal for RV Slide Out # SR74FR. The wiper seal will go on first and you'll want to have the sides overlapped by the top. You can use the adhesive backing to hold it in place and...
