Does the Brakemaster 9060 for Motorhomes with hydraulic brakes require or benefit from vacuum assist. I dont see anything that mentions a vacuum requirement Thanks

The Roadmaster BrakeMaster Braking System with BrakeAway for RVs with Hydraulic Brakes # RM-9060 does not require or benefit from vacuum assist. You could actually argue that it is more of a hindrance. That is because the vacuum assist requires that the vacuum be released for installation and every time the tow vehicle is started after that you will need to release the vacuum before towing.

I have included the instruction manual for the BrakeMaster 9060, it goes over the vacuum information in the instructions. It is important to note that the BrakeMaster connects directly to your RV's hydraulic brakes, making the installation quite involved. An advanced mechanical background is required for installation.
