Question:
I would like to mount this levelling jack system on a fifth wheel trailer. The trailer is 32foot long and weighs 11,000lbs. I will use these jacks in conjunction with the existing landing gear on the fifth wheel to level and stabilize the unit. Where is the best location to mount the jacks? Just behind the rear axle, half way between the rear axle and rear bumper or as far back as possible? Does this set of jacks come with a wiring harness to connect to the battery and what size gauge wire is required to connect the motors to the Rvs 12 volt supply system? Thanks for your help.

To mount the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer with Dual Motors # UF39-941705 you'll first want to determine your trailer's departure angle so that you can mount the jacks without having to worry about them hitting the ground when going through steep inclines/declines. You'll want the jacks placed as far back without extending past the departure angle. I've attached a little diagram of this below from another system to give you a better idea of what I'm meaning.
This does come with a wire harness to run to your battery but you'll most likely need to extend the wire depending on the trailer's length. I recommend using 10 gauge wire and heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-10 for a waterproof connection.
