Question:

If I purchase a pre-mounted 12 inch tire and rim combo, will it be balanced?

The Kenda Karrier ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Black Mod Wheel # AM35354 does not come balanced, nor does any trailer tire and wheel. While you can have them balanced if you'd like to, it really isn't necessary for performance so long as your tow vehicle tires are balanced.

The reason for that is the trailer is simply tracking as opposed to being responsible for steering/turning. The tires and suspension on the trailer won't be affected at all by not being perfectly balanced, which is why most people choose not to balance them.
