Is There a Replacement Latch For a Metal Latch on a Sears X-Cargo Rooftop Carrier

I am looking for two latch assemblies for a Sears X-Cargo rooftop carrier. Not the black plastic lever variety, these are folded galvanized metal brackets with a large wing nut/bolt fastener. I can send a picture.

I believe that I know what latch style you are talking about on your Sears X-Cargo carrier, but you are welcome to still send in that picture.

Unfortunately, we do not have exact replacements for the older boxes that used the metal latches. The only latch style that we have for the Sears X-Cargo carriers are the Replacement Latch for SportRack Explorer Cargo Box # 03347. We have had customers tell us that they were able to make the # 03347 latch work on their older X-Cargo models that had metal latches.

Hey Drew, you're probably having trouble with it because it's not meant for that box. You need to be using the Replacement Dual Force Strut for Thule Roof Box #TH14933 instead, which is the correct replacement.
