I have seen many part numbers on the Curt trailer hitch for a 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Can you confirm what is the latest part number and is this the best choice for the 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness trim. Thank you

I checked with Curt and the item # C67JR hitch you were looking at is confirmed to fit the 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Subaru with included hardware. I recommend using the etrailer Hitch item # e25TR instead. This hitch is our house brand which is made by Curt. It is identical in every way except for the paint finish and the cost.

I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get this hitch set up. We haven't had a 2024 Outback in the shop yet so the video is on a 2023 model but the installation process is the same.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56040 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
