Remember when gauging your trailer's tongue weight was such a hassle? It often involved wrestling with bathroom scales, which were far from accurate, or making a trip to the weigh station, which took time and effort. Or you had to buy a separate scale. With a Weigh Safe Hitch, it's super-simple. Just hook up your trailer to the ball mount like you would with any other hitch. The moment you connect, the weight of your trailer pushes down on the hitch ball, automatically giving you a measurement on the easy-to-read gauge. It's quick, hassle-free, and takes the guesswork out of towing. Now you can focus on the road ahead instead of worrying about whether your load is balanced.
The Weigh Safe Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your needs.

Hello, neighbor! Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our steel Weigh Safe with built-in scale, dual ball mount for a two-inch shank. Now folks, this will give you a max drop of eight inches and a max rise of nine inches depending on what position you have it in. You get a two-inch ball rated at 8,000 pounds capacity and a two and five-16th inch ball rated at 15,000 pounds max capacity. Now folks, this will give you adjustable options as far as heights of different trailers, different size couplers with the two different balls. More importantly, you have this built-in scale.
I wanna zoom in and give you an image on the screen. That's what that scale looks like, close up and that will help you balance your trailer, promote safe towing by giving you the right correct tow weight that you can adjust before you go down the road. And it's a simple operation. It's gonna automatically give you that measurement every time you put a coupler down on it. And that'll give you the tow weight and it's efficient and hassle-free and eliminates the need for separate or commercial-grade scale use.
Now, you do again, get two balls. These are stainless steel construction so you don't have worry about rust corrosion. The whole unit here that's black powder coated is a high carbon steel. It's V5 and J684 certified. You also get two sets of keys.
These are keyed alike. Underneath this protective rubber cover here, you have the dual locking pin. That's for the main housing assembly. And then you have your hitch pin over here. So, I'm gonna take one of these sets of keys here.
We'll go ahead and undo the hitch pin lock here. Tubular keys, (key scrapes) harder to lock pick, a lot more robust, longer lasting durability. You're not gonna smash these to where they're unusable. One thing I like while we're on the hitch pin, you just simply pop it back together with no key and that's what locks it. So, very easy to do that operation. (pin knocking) And those same keys, we simply unlock the pin down here on the bottom. If I can get it lined up here (metal scraping) to unlock it. There we go. And it simply pulls out, (pin knocking) this is hardened steel as well. And let's say I want to swap out this two-inch ball with the two and five-sixteenths. (metal knocking) Slide it off. And on the backside here, you'll notice there is a ring, a key ring there. Just simply fold this down or rather tip it over and that'll slide right out. It's super easy. They make it super easy for you. Put the two and five-16th inch ball in place, line the pin up with the hole, (pin scraping) slides right back in there. And then all you gotta do is push that ring down into that recess portion and then from there you simply put it right back onto the shank. Put your steel-locking key back in place, (metal scraping) or steel pins rather with the lock. There you go. (keys knocking) And then you are ready to go. All locked in. I can put the dust cover on if I want. I'll leave it off for now. But it's that simple folks. So, what did that take me 20, 30 seconds max. So, (inhales) very easy to do. As far as some measurements, center ball to center of hitch pin hole here, we're looking at eight inches. And then center ball to center of the back, hitch pin hole, nine and one-eighth inches. Now, from the center of this hitch pin hole back to the back, it's two and three-eighth inches. And the center of this one back is three and a half inches. So again, folks, this is the Weigh Safe steel with built-in scale, dual ball mounts with the two stainless steel balls for the two-inch shank. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching! I hope this information has been helpful for you. As always, stay safe while you're towing.

print service but expensive!!
It is a great product and works as indicated. Even though it is a little pricey it is worth the peace of mind to know that your weight is evenly loaded/
Very Heavy Duty!
fantastice and what you would expect.
I like the ease at which to put together this Weigh Safe ball mount. It takes no time at all. The weight of it does not make it difficult to maneuver. The built-in scale is wonderful for those needing to make sure their tongue weight is within range before towing.
Have not used it yet.Solid build.
Great product and functions as expected.
Great Service! Easy to install! Works G reat!!
Great hitch, fit and finish is excellent with lots of adjustability. Nice to have the scale when loading equipment or vehicles. I have used lots of hitches, this is worth spending the money if you tow different trailers or trailers with different weight loads.
