Can Redarc Tow Pro Link Bluetooth Brake Controller be Used in Place of Curt Echo Brake Controller

Question:
Im currently using a Curt Echo on my Volvo XC90 with factory tow module and harness. Would this be a viable replacement? If memory serves me correctly, the Volvo wiring harness only uses the standard 4-way connections plus the 12V power connection. Thinking Id like to eliminate the extra attachmentinch that I currently have with the Echo. Thanks, Mike

Hey Mike, yes the Redarc Tow Pro Link Bluetooth Brake Controller part # RED57AR would work great for you. It uses the exact same circuits as the Echo that you have now so since that worked for you this would as well. How did you like the Echo?

Hi Jameson, Thanks for the response. The Echo has worked well for us, but I'm just looking to decrease the number of "things" back there. I'm just going to have to double check my Volvo 7 pin connector to see if it actually has the USCAR connection.....here's hoping.
