Troubleshooting A VueSMART RV Camera System That Won't Pair To An iPhone

Question:

I can get the camera to hook up to my android phone but it wont connect to my iPhone. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

The VueSMART RV and Trailer Backup Camera # HM34FR connects via it's own wifi hotspot and requires the app. You'll first want to make sure that you power the camera and give it a few minutes to fully power up. If your camera is tied into the running light circuit make sure that your running lights are on in the tow vehicle. From there you'll look in your available wifi networks to connect your iphone to it. Once connected you can go through the app setup. If the camera isn't wanting to pair or show up as an available connection option then it could simply be a power issue. If it pairs but won't work in-app then you would need to reach out to Hopkins, the manufacturer, for further assistance.
