Replacement Converter Section Needed For A Progressive Dynamics # PD4060K Power Center

Updated 11/17/2025 | Published 12/13/2024

Question:

2017 Jayco Greyhawk 29ME. Build sheet tells me I have a PD4060K. Im interested in this converter as we are installing a LiFeP04 battery. What Im concerned about is we have one panel for AC breakers and another smaller one a few inches away for DC fuse panel. There are no part numbers in the panels. Will the new converter still fit?

Hey Jamie,

If you do have a Progressive Dynamics # PD4060K then you'll want to remove the faceplate and take on look at your current converter's circuit board. If you see a black and white switch or the white plastic pronged piece sitting next to the switch in the picture below then you still have a way to switch to lithium mode.

If you have the switch you can just flip it inward to switch over. If you have the older prong style you'll just need to pull the black jumper off and move it onto the "LI" and center prong. If you don't see either on yours you can switch to the # PD4560LICSV, which is a direct replacement and lithium compatible.

It's totally normal for the AC and DC distribution panels to be right next to each each other. The converter pulls power from the AC side when you're hooked up to shore power and then powers the DC distribution panel and recharges your battery.

Hey Jamie, how did things go with your converter setup on the Greyhawk after checking for the lithium switch or jumper? Knowing what you found could help others upgrading to LiFePO4 batteries in a similar setup.

@HeatherA we wound up ordering a new converter as ours did not have the LiFePO4 jumper or switch. We purchased the PD4560LICSV as recommended. Everything worked great with that converter.
