Recommended Torque Wrench and Socket For 2020 Flagstaff ePro 15tb with 1/2" Wheel Studs

Question:

HI. I have a 2020 Flagstaff ePro 15tb and Id like to buy a Torque Wrench and socket. Your ALL644044 is the wrench I think will work for me. Im trying so sort out the socket. From what Ive read I think I need a 6 point - deep socket - thin walled socket. Im not sure of the actual size maybe 3/4 - 19mm?. Im hoping you might be able to help me with this. The tires are Westlake / ST235/75R15C - The wheel material seems to be aluminum not magnetic. The lug nut is coned. And my best guess on the stud size is 1/2 based on the weight of this small trailer. I can send a photo of the tire/wheel if that would be helpful. Many thanks for your help. Arica

The Powerbuilt # ALL644044 will work for torqueing the lug nuts on your 2020 Flagstaff ePro 15tb, but be careful not to over do it. This style of torque wrench is susceptible to over torqueing because of it not making any auditory noise when you get to the torque you're wanting. I'd highly recommend stepping up to the # ALL944001 as the clicking feature will be much better to keep from over torqueing.

Based on the information you gave me on your trailer, and that it has 1/2" studs you should use a 13/16" socket. We don't sell any good sets for this but you're correct, a 6-point thin wall socket is ideal and you should be able to pick one up at a local auto parts store.

There should be a sticker on your camper somewhere that says what to torque the lug nuts down to, but in general an aluminum 15" wheel gets torqued down to 90-100lb-ft.
