To add a trailer hitch to your Hybrid 2023 Toyota Venza, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C89UR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 525 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I have linked an installation video and attached a couple of pictures below so you can see what this hitch looks like once installed.
For a compatible wiring harness you will want the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit item # 119250KIT. There are no custom fit kits for your hybrid Venza. This wiring harness uses clamps to receive the necessary signals to control your trailer's lighting functions. This harness does not require cutting or splicing wires.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
