Expert Reply:
Typically when changing to a heavier spring bar you will not have to adjust the spring bars. With either the 1,000lb Round Bar # FA94-02-1099 or Trunnion Bar # FA92-02-1099 being installed on either the Round Bar # FA94-00-0800 or Trunnion # FA92-00-0800 hitch having the heavier capacity will only increase the tension slightly. It is still a good idea to install the bars an measure the ride height changes to ensure they are providing the correct amount of support.
