Determining Where To Install Hanger Kit APS3 with 26-1/2" Leaf Springs On Trailer

Question:
I got a trailer with 26 and 1/2 inch leaf spring on mine and yes i realize its meant for a car but anywho how would i go abouts figuring where it needs to be placed on the frame id get all new pieces but orgonally i was trying to kust replace the busted parts with matching parts that was orginally used on it before i got it but now i spent all thos cash and took it from a double axle to a songle axle im unsure where to weld the new axle at

There isn't a set dimension on where to install the hangers of the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # APS3 when you're using a 26-1/2" leaf spring, as it was really designed around a 25-1/2" leaf spring, so you'll need to tack weld the hangers in place until you get the correct shackle geometry but 25-3/4" spacing should be about right. This kit is only going to work with trailer leaf springs also, a vehicle leaf spring uses a completely different shackle bolt and will not fit in this hanger kit, but the length you gave does not sound like a vehicle leaf spring.
