Equalizer Upgrade Recommendation For 7-3/4 Inch Long Equalizer on Tandem Axle Trailer

Question:

I’m trying to find a better equalizer for my 7x14 enclosed tandem trailer. GVWR is 7000. The wheel base is 38” I would like a smother ride and get rid of all of the squeakings. What would you recommend?

Appreciate the photo, and you look to have an equalizer that is 7-3/4 inches from center to center, and for an equalizer upgrade I recommend the E-Z Flex:

The E-Z Flex # K71-655-00 will do exactly what you are looking for with improving your ride due to the rubber core, which cushions the movement. These are for axles up to 8k as well so they are rated more than high enough for your application.
