Will the etrailer Electric Jack W/ Footplate Interfere With My Tailgate on My 2015 Ram 2500?

Question:

From pictures of all electric power tongue Jacks, it looks like there will not be clearance to open tailgate on truck. I have to be level to open with manual jack. I have a 2015 Ram 2500 HD and a 2015 Keystone Passport Ultra Lite Elite. Has this been issue for anyone else?

I have not personally heard of such a thing but I can imagine it being an area of concern. The Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX measures 5-1/4" total forward from the mounting flange. With that information you should able to determine if your tailgate will open or not.

I have attached a picture for you to check out with this measurement along with a couple others.
