2" Hitch Ball For Use On Shocker Hitch HD Air Ball Mount # SHK22VR For 7-1/2" Drop

Question:

Can an additional 2” ball and carrier be purchased separately. The dual ball 2” and 2 5/16” didn’t offer the 7” drop option unless I missed it. I need both sizes readily available. Is this hitch compatible with rock tamer mud flaps?

Yes, we have the Drop Ball Attachment for Shocker Bumper Hitches with 2" Ball # SHK27ZR. This will work with the Shocker Hitch HD Air Ball Mount # SHK22VR you found giving you the 7-1/2" of drop you are needing. The Combo Ball # SHK89ZR included with the Shocker Hitch HD Air Cushioned 2-Ball Mount # SHK65VR will only have 3-1/2" of drop due to the different design of the ball mount itself. I recommend getting the InfiniteRule Locking Pins # IR39FR to secure the assembly to your truck.

To verify if you will be able to use the Rock Tamers Heavy-Duty, Adjustable Mud Flap System # ERT00110 you will need to measure the distance from your hitch pin center to the end of the receiver. The Rock Tamer needs 1" of clearance and the Shocker Hitch has 4-1/2" from the rear hitch pin center to the weld on the shank. So you will need less than 3-1/2" from the center of your hitch pin hole to the end of you receiver tube to fit these together.
