Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Drop Ball Attachment for the Shocker Bumper Hitches with the two inch hitch ball. This attachment is going to work with Shocker Hitch Air, XRC, XR, and Impact bumper mount products, and the drop ball attachment with this two inch ball, adjusts from 4 1/2 inches to 7 1/2 inches of drop, and the mount itself has a 1 1/4 inch hole, and as you can see, it does come with this two inch ball. The ball shank length is 2 3/4 inches long, the ball is zinc plated to resist rust and corrosion, and as you can see, it does come with the lock washer and the nut. The mount is shot blasted and powder coated to prevent rust, the attachment pin hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch, and as I mentioned this is compatible with several Shocker Hitch products. I do have the Shocker XR here with a 2 1/2 inch shank, I just wanna show you the ease of compatibility and how easy this is to use, so I do have my pins and clips as well. Let me just line up these holes here, and then I'm just gonna go ahead and turn this around and put in my clips, and that's just how easy this is going to be.

If you already have a Shocker Hitch, that's how easy this is gonna be to swap in and out those attachments. Now, the gross towing weight of this Shocker Hitch two inch ball is 10,000 pounds, and it must be remembered that a towing setup is always limited by its lowest rated component, whether that be your vehicle, your hitch, or another component.
