Can You Use a Weight Distribution System on a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder

Planning on towing a 21ft StarCraft tandem axel trailer with a our new 2023 Nissan Pathfinder SL curb weight full of fuel 2440KJ 5368lbs with a Curt brake controller. Trailer weight dry 1440KJ 3168lbs. Trailer Tongue weight 540lbs wet. The Nissan manual recommendations are adhered to with this set up allowing a trailer and cargo towing weight of 6000lbs with max allowable tongue weight of 600lbs. Is it safe to install the Curt weight distribution hitch i purchased on this factory installed Pathfinder hitch bolted to its unibody frame? Nissan dealerships are zero help confirming the answer.

Yes, you can use a weight distribution system on a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder per the owner's manual. It's referred to as a "weight carrying hitch" in said manual. The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System part # C17499 is a good option for this with built-in sway control. Please note, you'll also need a 2" Hitch Ball part # A-90 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball part # A-6.
