How to Find Correct Replacement Shackle Straps for Trailer
Question:
Hello, Im in need of shackle straps and Im not sure of the size at the moment. Do to the fact that I havent been able to removed the broken Shackles to take measurements like you suggested. So therefore I compared my trailer suspension and bolts double eyed with the information and graphics on your website. My suspension bolts Regular Shackle Bolt A Do to the the following information that Ive listed above. Kindly advise me further. Also note I attached photos of my broken shackles and my shackles on the opposite side that isnt broken.

In regards to measuring shackle straps, you don't need to remove them to measure accurately. If they are still installed on the trailer simply measure from the center of each bolt head, the two most common are 2-1/4" part # TRSL225 and 3-1/8" part # TRSL313. It looks like you have the smaller 2-1/4" but you really ought to just measure yourself first.
