Can Weight Distribution and Sway Control Be Used on a C-Channel Frame that Opens to the Outside

Question:

My trailer is made from 6inch channel framing, except unlike most trailers, the open part of the C is to the outside instead of inside. How does this impact the use of this weight distribution setup with the sway control?

In order to use a weight distribution such as # PS49583 with sway control like # 83660 you would have to have steel plates welded to the trailer frame by a qualified professional to box it out in the areas where the brackets would attach to the trailer. This is the only way you will be able to use weight distribution and sway control given the unique design of the trailer frame.
