Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2008 Saturn VUE

Question:
Will this product work on my VUE. We are looking for additional cargo space for our camping trips and I am not a fan of cargo bags and carriers. I want to be able to easily assemble a sturdy hitch cargo basket and to be able to access my stuff without having to climb on my car to get it. Nor do I want the drag on gas mileage with something on top of my car. I have a trailer hitch but I am not sure this model will work and if it doesnt do you recommend one that does? Thanks,

The etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874 that you referenced would work great if your Saturn Vue has a 2 inch receiver hitch. This cargo carrier is reliable.
You could also consider the Pro-Series # 63153. It is a non-folding option.
If you do not already have a 4-flat for towing, you can use the Curt # C56026 T-One Vehicle wiring harness for the light kit # 20174.
Please check the size, and tongue weight capacity of your trailer hitch to make sure that these carriers will work for you. If you happen to have a 1-1/4 inch hitch please feel free to reply to me directly and I can make additional recommendations for you.
