How High Above Crossbars Will Inno Shadow 16 Roof Box Sit

Question:

Hi, Is this box recessed like the 660 box? So it sets a little below the crossbars? Trying to decide which one to get. Id like the taller inside capacity, but am concerned about it fitting in my garage. Thank you

The Inno Wedge # INBRA1210BK does have a bit of that same recessed designed at the front and rear of the box (see attached picture for a clearer view of this), but you're still looking at about 13-3/8" of height above the crossbars when it's mounted. I'd just park your Outback underneath the garage entryway and take a quick measurement above the crossbars to see how much space you have to work with.

Let me know if the measurement you take is less than 13-3/8" and I'd be happy to help find the best alternative solution.
