Can Skis Be Placed at an Angle Inside the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box

Question:

Hi, I am trying to understand the max ski length on this model. The specs say 182cm, but in another QandA, the it says up to 190 cm ski length if they are placed at an angle. Can you confirm which is correct?

we list the max ski length to match the full length of the interior of the cargo box so since the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRA1210BK has a max interior length of 182 cm that's why we list the max ski length as 182 cm.

You could put the skis in at an angle if they are a little longer, but this means you're taking up more space in the cargo box and you have to get creative with the rest of your cargo.

If you'd like to be able to keep your skis pointing in the direction of travel so you have more unrestricted cargo space then I recommend checking out the Thule Force XT XL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6358B which can comfortably fit up to 194 cm long skis.
