Is There a Brake Controller Harness That Plugs In Under the Dash on a 2019 BMW X5

Question:

This is the wrong adapter for 2019 BMW and newer. The brake controller plugs in under the dash, not in the rear. This adapter is 20foot too long. I contacted etrailer last October with pictures and notes. They know but havent fixed this.

It's possible that there is a brake controller port under the dash on certain 2019 BMW X5's, but none of the aftermarket manufacturers we carry support this plug. The only option we offer for installing an electric trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN Trailer Brake Controller part # TK63VR without splicing is with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # TK29FR. This harness plugs in at the rear. I checked with Tekonsha and the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers is listed as a fit for a 2007 - 2023 BMW X5.
