Question:
Hello, I have a Styker 3116 that is said to 14,600 loaded and 1400 tongue weight loaded. The tow vehicle is a 21 ram 2500 with airlift bags. I currently run a huskey center line with the 2.5” shank. It seems to be overloaded as I have bent two sets of pins for the bars and two hitch pins. I can’t seem to get the porpoising out of the trailer. We do most of out camping in remote areas that require dirt road travel. Will the bw continuum help with the issues and be easily adjusted for dirt roads and various toy hauler loads. The husky has also wallered out the hitch pin holes on truck as well as the other issues.

The B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System part # BW28FR is great for varying loads since you can easily adjust the tongue weight setting. That said, I don't recommend this system when going off-road as it hangs down too low and could create ground clearance issues. Instead, I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ64FR which is one of the best options out there performance wise. It's rated up to 1,600 lbs. If you don't know your exact loaded tongue weight, I recommend you visit a local commercial scale so you can determine if you're overloading the trailer and that you have the correct rated system.
