Has The Replacement Operator Mechanism # MA10-20281K-1AF Been Updated To Prevent Shattering?

Im looking at your listing for the MaxxAir MaxxFan replacement operator mechanism. Is this just New Old stock or is it a Modified Version to prevent/reduce the known problem with the gearbox shattering? Thank you

The Replacement Operator Mechanism # MA10-20281K-1AF is an updated version for the MaxxAir MaxxFan. This originally was the MaxxAir part number 10-20281K-1AF and was updated to the 10A20281K-1AF. We did not change our part number when they updated it as it the same part just updated to not have the same problems as the previous operator.
