We offer three different base plate kits for your 1997 Geo Tracker 2-Door that will fit as long as your Tracker is not equipped with brush guards. The link provided will take you to our page for all base plate kits.
Roadmaster offers a choice of fixed-arm and removable-arm types. Removable arms allow the vehicle to retain more of its stock appearance when not being flat-towed and will help reduce bumps on your shins. Roadmaster # 118-15 has removable arms; the more cost-effective part # 118-8 has fixed arms that cannot be removed.
If you are using Draw-Tite Tow Bar # 63180 you will need an adapter to mate it to the Roadmaster base plates. You can use Roadmaster Base Plate to Tow Ready Tow Bar Adapter # RM-025.
I have included a link to an article concerning flat-towing; this covers all the essential safety equipment required to legally flat tow a vehicle. The article includes links to each component in case you need any of these to complete your flat-towing set-up.
