Question:
I have an 8x16 pace summit trailer and I need a rear door spring assembly. I have a measurement of 75inch from bracket to bracket. The overall length is approximately 82.5. It is a single spring and the door itself is designed to handle an automobile. The door is very heavy. Could you recommend a replacement part?

It looks like the best option is going to be single-spring system # 362SA8. It is 94 inches wide total but it can be adjusted from 45-1/4" to 95-5/8". This system has a capacity of 150 pounds.
The installation instructions for this product are recommended for individuals who have experience winding torsion springs. If you have not worked with a torsion spring system before, we recommend contacting a local garage door company to install this system.
