Expert Reply:
Since there aren't custom-fit hitches available for a 1958 Chevy Truck you'll be limited to a multi-fit or adjustable style trailer hitch. The Curt 3-Piece Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15511 you saw on Jameson's answer page can fit a 34" frame width and has a deep drop in order to clear the bumper. If you could get me the measurements for your truck's frame width and how much space you have from the top of the frame to the bottom of the bumper then I could try to find something that will work with your vehicle.
P.S. Jameson says "Hi".
