Question:
I have a 2006 VW jetta GLI and would like to purchase a trailer wiring harness but wanted to know if you have instructions for a install first. If this is something I can do myself then I would be glad to purchase the kit if not I may have to leave it to professionals.

We actually carry a trailer wiring harness for your 2006 Jetta that is a very easy installation. Take a look at the Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118667. This is what is called a T-One harness because it plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring so you will not have to splice into the vehicle wiring. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
You will be able to perform this installation at home based on the easy T-one style connectors.
