Question:

I have a 2019 Buick Enclave. R20 Tires. 4400 LBS. GVW. Can the Demco Kar Kaddy X tow this? Also, my motor home Jayco Greyhawk 30X is wired for and has an electric brake controller with a 7-pin connector. Can this tow dolly be ordered with electric brakes and a 7-pin pigtail?

To verify if your 2019 Buick Enclave will fit on the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly # DM9713093 you are going to need to measure the width of your Enclave from outside tire to outside tire on the front axle. I can only see the vehicle width without the mirrors at 78.8" They do not publish a width for the tires which at maximum can only be 78" for this tow dolly. If you are below the 78" width you are able to use this tow dolly as you are below the 4,800lb maximum capacity for the dolly.

Demco currently only offers this dolly with the surge brake and does not offer an electric alternative. You would need to replace the surge coupler and drill for a standard 2" Coupler # DM15945. Then you would need to add a Hydrastar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HS481-8067 to actuate the disc brakes. This kit contains the wiring needed as well as a breakaway battery for the trailer. You will need a 4-way to 7-way Adapter # PK12716 to adapt the wiring on the dolly to the Hydrastar wiring. This will allow you to use your electric brake controller in your Jayco Greyhawk 30X.
