Parts Needed To Install a 7-Way and Trailer Brake Controller On a 2023 Kia Telluride

Question:

Good afternoon - I am looking for a 7-pin trailer harness for a 2023 Kia Telluride. Those offered on the website are for model years 2020-2022. Do you know if this will fit the 2023 model, and if not, do you sell a harness that will? The Telluride is shipped with the electrics pre-run, so on earlier models it was plug-and-play. Im hoping is the same with 2023. Thanks!

I recommend the Tekonsha Universal 7-Way # 22551 as the Curt # C68JR will not fit on your 2023 Kia Telluride. The factory connector the Curt harness plugged into was removed on the 2023 model year as there were issues with fires starting on the previous model years. This Tekonsha will allow you to splice in a 7-way and includes all the wiring needed to install a Tekonsha brake controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195. You can also use the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR along with the Tekonsha to Redarc Adapter # 331-TPH-017. The Redarc hides the main control unit behind the dash and is controlled by a small control knob giving you a much cleaner appearance inside.

You will need a Mounting Bracket # 18138 to attach the 7-way on your Telluride.
