Question about Leaf springs for 2018 Grand Design Reflection 312BHTS. Kyle S mentioned in this etrailer article about a 2019 Grand Design Reflection 312bhts - since you have 5,200 lb axles, go with the 5,300 lb leaf springs, or even 6,000 lb leaf springs would be okay …so what you want to do is measure your current springs - from center eye to center eye - and get ones a bit shorter by an 1/2 inch or 1 inch... My Springs measure 26 1/8 inch eye to center eye measurement C. • Seems like I should go with 26 inch since that is what I measured but that article has me wondering if 25 24-7/8 would be better? • I have Dexter Axles - 5200 Model # 7743926 • Option 1 = 1 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,500-lb Trailer Axles - 26 • Or: 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,300-lb Trailer Axles - 24-7/8 inch Long

For your 2018 Grand Design Reflection 312BHTS I highly recommend using the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e47SR which is rated for up to 6,000 lb axles and measures 25-1/8" from center eye to center eye. Choosing right leaf spring involves getting the right length as well as the right weight capacity and this one checks off both requirements whereas the ones you referenced either didn't have enough capacity or were a little more short than what we want.

The 6K leaf spring I referenced gets us within that 1" difference like what Kyle mentioned plus you don't have to worry about overloading your springs, as long as you're staying within the weight ratings of your trailer.
