Question:
Im in the market for a WDH for my new F150. I have used BandW products before, like them and am happy to see them in the travel trailer WDH game now. I love how their product handles the WD aspect of a trailer, looks great and easy to set up. Before I can buy this I need to understand how they are helping my sway control. Im an F150 pulling a 30 foot plus camper, I need more detail. In the product vid and in literature it seems like antisway lip service. Like an afterthought. Im comparing this system to the Reese RP66561. You can see and easily understand how that system seeks to reduce sway. I cant say that for this one. Is there more documentation out there? More experiences?

The B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System part # BW78FR per B&W, does have built-in sway control. That said, all weight distribution systems have some sway control as they provide friction at the connection point which will then in turn prevent sway. This is more or less known as two point sway control. Therefore, the system will help to prevent sway from occurring but it won't do much to stop it once it occurs. This is know as four point sway control like what you see on the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System part # RP66561 as there additional points of contact on the frame that help stop sway once it happens. If sway control is a primary concern for you, I recommend the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution System part # BXW1500 as we have found this in our testing to provide the best sway control available.
