Locating the Brake Control Plug on a 2023 Nissan Frontier

Where is the factory brake plug on a 2023 frontier. Dealer says it behind kick panel on passenger side. That can be it. The cable is too short then. Can not find it under dash.

From what I could find, it looks like the plug for a trailer brake controller on your 2023 Nissan Frontier is located in the same location as the 2022 model year. That is behind the side panel by the OBD connector and is likely pushed back into the cavity taped to other wiring. Sometimes it can be difficult to spot because of the tape.

I have also included an installation video of the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR on a 2022 Nissan Frontier. At about the 3:40 mark of the video, they go over the location of the plug for the brake controller. The # RED44FR installs using the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # RED39FR.
