The Mighty Cord RV Power Cord # A10-5036EDBK lists the wire gauges as 6 gauge (3 wire) and 8 gauge (1 wire). The 6 gauge wire is used for the two power legs and negative, and is capable of handling 55 amps. The 8 gauge wire is used for the ground.
