Question:

I would like to use a removable flat tow braking system in my 2022 ford maverick hybrid. I like the blue ox system you have on sale but it is not confirmed fit for my truck. Can you give me the dimensions to check for fit please? Also which Roadmaster bar baseplate combo s best for my rig? Thank you

The reason the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System item # BLU37TR isn't confirmed to fit your 2022 Maverick is because of your batteries not the dimensions of the system. I checked with Roadmaster, Blue Ox, and took a look at your owner's manual and they all say you have to use a permanently installed system.

With this in mind, I recommend the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System item # DM26VR if your motorhome has air brakes or the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # DM86VR if your motorhome has hydraulic brakes.

For a Roadmaster base plate, you will want the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM97RR.

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
