Question:
I installed the road master wiring kit with diodes in my new Gladiator and the tail lights are very dim when connected to my RV. The last kit I installed on my previous jeep was a quick connect and no issues. Any advice?

The Smart Diode kit # RM47ZR you installed is designed for use with Gladiators that have ParkSense Proximity Sensors with LED lights. If you don't have these sensors or you have incandescent lights then that could be a possible cause for the dimness. For incandescent lights with proximity sensors you would need # RO94FR instead.
The next thing to check would be the installation, start by tracing the wiring from the 6-pole socket back to the tail lights. I had someone come in with a similar issue and found that the wiring had been wrapped around the muffler and melted to it. Any damage to the wire or loose connections at the diodes can cause issues. A bad ground is also a very common issue.
You can also check the wiring from front to back with a multimeter # PT89ZR to see where the power is dropping and make the appropriate repairs. Let me know what you find and we can keep troubleshooting.
