Are the chrome center caps steel or stainless steel ? I want something that looks good and last .

We carry a few center caps that are either stainless steel, plastic with a chrome finish, or chrome plated steel.

The plastic center caps we offer, like the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap, part # AM90091B are constructed of plastic with a chrome finish.

The Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap like part # AM90175, is made of stainless steel and has a plastic cap on the end.

We also carry a chrome plated steel center cap like part # 319EZ. It has a plastic cap with a chrome finish.

All of these caps I mentioned fit wheels with a pilot hole that has a diameter of 3.19 inches.
