Question:

I wanted to see which gooseneck hitch y’all recommend for a 2013 ram 2500 5.7 hemi power wagon, I think they have a shorter bed than normal so I wanted to see if y’all have any recommendations, thanks.

You are correct the beds on the power wagons are a little bit shorter than standard on the 2013 Ram 2500's. To add a gooseneck hitch you will want the B&W Turnoverball Underbed item # BWGNRK1308. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Ram with included hardware.

I checked with B&W and there is some variance on whether or not you have to modify the bracket on one side and drill into the other for the power wagons. On the driver's side bracket there is a little piece that you'll need to cut off and you may or may not have to drill a new hole in the side of that plate for it to match up to your frame. Some of the Ram's have holes there and some of them don't. On the passenger's side you may or may not have to drill a new hole into the frame of your pickup for it to match up. Same deal as the drivers side.

I have linked an installation video below that was done on a Ram 2500 so you can get an idea of the process.

To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # C56000. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
