Question:

I purchased the 7 way adaptor for my 2022 GMC Sierra and now have power to my Furrion RV back up camera, but the infortainment system wont recognize the signal. Is there another brand of camera that I need?

Glad to hear the camera from your Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System FOS07TASF is now working since you're using the Power Adapter # FR87PR.

The Vision S cameras are only designed to work with the Vision S monitors so you won't be able to connect it to the infotainment system on your 2022 GMC Sierra. I've heard that some cameras are being designed to work with that system but I don't have any experience with them. If you're needing a Vision S monitor then I recommend picking up the 5" Monitor # FR97FR along with the Power Cable # C-FOS07TAPK-006 and Window Mount # FR79SR.

There are advantages to using the infotainment system as a monitor as well as disadvantages. One advantage is that your dash is less cluttered and more organized while an advantage of having a separate monitor, like with the Vision S, is having a dedicated screen to just your camera system.
