Question:
my question is regarding the Roadmaster 195125. I have Alcoa Durabrite 5.5x16 aluminum rims and 215/85r16 tires. This carrier looks like you should mount it to the plate with the inside of the rim facing the vehicle. Looks like a tight fit. Will it fit?

Expert Reply:
You are correct that the inside of the wheel will be facing the back of your vehicle when installed on the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125. I'm attaching a dimensional photo of the plate to the operating handle of the carrier so you can see if the fitment works for your application.
If you have dually-style or deep dish wheels then the Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225 will be what you want to go with instead.
Attached is a review video of the 195125 for you to check out!
