Should I Use The Pigtail 3016-P or 3016-S When Adding a Tekonsha Primus IQ To a 2022 Chevy Tahoe

I have a 2022 chevy tahoe. I know it is the 3016 harness but is there a certain one 3016 p or 3016 s specific for my vehicle?

To connect the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 on your 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe you will want to use the 3016-P Pigtail # 3016. This pigtail will have connectors on both ends while the Pigtail # 3016-S will only have the factory connector. If you use this connector you will have to wire it to the universal pigtail which comes with the Primus IQ. This creates an additional failure point on the harness which can fail.
