In the product video, I saw mention of a grease zerk to lubricate this gooseneck ball assembly. What specific type of grease is recommended?

For the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing Gooseneck Hitch Ball # C67DR, you will want to use a high quality molybdenum-based grease. You will want to grease prior to initial use and once every 3 months or 3,000 miles.
