Question:

I have a 2021 Grand Design Momentum 351fifth wheel Toy Hauler with 7,000 Dexter Axles and 9/16 wheel studs. I would like to convert my RV from Drum Brakes to Disc Brakes. I pull the rig with a 2020 Chevrolet 2500 HD Duramax with a factory Trailer Brake Control system. I will only buy the system if I keep the 9/16 studs and the factory trailer brake controller system.

In order to convert a 2021 Grand Design Momentum 351 5th Wheel Toy Hauler from electric drum to hydraulic disc brakes you'll need a disc brake kit, brake line kit, and brake actuator. I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brakes part # KOD65FR (2) and Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Kit for Disc Brakes part # HBA16-252-82 which contains everything you need for the swap and it has 9/16" wheel studs.

In regards to compatibility with a factory trailer brake controller, so long as your controller has an EOH mode then it should be compatible but we typically still recommend using the Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module for Ford and Chevy Brake Controllers part # HBA-CAM just to be sure there are no issues.
