Published 11/01/2022 >
Question:
I was told my 2017 Rogue cant be fitted with ramp/hitch to carry a small mobility scooter that weighs approximately 75 lbs. Is that true? I dont want to have to buy a new vehicle for this purpose.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The maximum tongue weight capacity of a 2017 Nissan Rogue is 110 lbs therefore the weight of the scooter and carrier cannot exceed this. That said, so long as you are under said weight capacity you're good to go, you just need a trailer hitch like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98846 and a carrier of your choice.
