Question:
4 pin nor 7 pin. I have removed and replaced F29 fuse. As I was in the fuse box I pressed down on a number of fuses that seemed to go in a bit further. Still no power to either trailer connector. Should be no reason for a broken wire, and I cant see one. what else should I trouble shoot?

Another thing you can check on your 2017 Dodge Ram 1500's 7-way is the physical connector. You're going to want to ensure that there is no corrosion or that may be causing a malfunction. You're going to want to make sure that the ground wires are all properly grounded and that they are free from corrosion and there are no breaks in the wire.
You're also going to want to make sure that the wires inside the receptacle are not damaged in any way. If all your wiring is good to go, then you'll just want to replace the entire plug with the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket, Chrysler/Dodge OEM Plug Adapter # HM40975-11933.
I also recommend you try and test the wiring behind the 7-way with a circuit tester # PTW2993 to ensure that you are even receiving power to the connector.
Attached is a product overview video for you to check out as well.
