Troubleshooting Trailer Brakes that Pull Harder on One Side than Other

Question:

The brakes on one side of my trailer seam to be grabbing harder than the right when applying the brakes the trailer wants to pull to the side. What do you suggest for a fix? They are your never adjust brakes for 3500lbs dexter axles. I put them on in mid August and have around 1000 miles on them. Any help will be greatly appreciated

I would first inspect the wiring and make sure 10 gauge wire like 10-10-1 is going to the brake assemblies for power and ground and is connected securely. A weak ground might allow the assemblies to not grab as hard. You can also pull the hubs off and make sure a grease seal isn't leaking grease into the drum. For a grease seal you'd want the # 58846 if this is the case.
