Tensioners for Titan Icebreaker Chains on 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L

Question:

I was looking at buying the Titan TC2828 for my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. It has 265-60 R18 tires. Which chain tensioners would you recommend? Also, why are the Titan chains with cams not recommended for off road? Thank you!

The Titan chains part # TC2828 are a fit for the tire size you have on your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L of 265/60-18 and for tensioners I would recommend the # TCSA2 which are going to a great job providing a solid amount of tension in your chains that also install easily.

The question about the cams is a really good one. We've asked our tire chain manufacturers this before and they've said that the cams are a weaker point on the chains so for serious off-roading you'd not want to use the as they would potentially fail.
